Team Manager and Manufacturing Engineer
Maelle, is our Team Manager and Manufacturing Engineer, was elected due to her immense passion for the F1 in schools competition and the trust of the team members who selected her to guide us. As leader, Maelle is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our team throughout the competition. She oversees the assignment of tasks, maintains constant communication with each member to keep everyone informed about progress, have fun, and ensures all deadlines are met.
Maelle examines various aerodynamic phenomena, the effects of forces, and key mechanisms that will enhance the car's performance, maximize speed, and ensure its structural integrity. Her technical insights are vital to optimizing the design and efficiency of our team's F1 car.
Resource Manager and Design Engineer
Andrew was selected as the Resource Manager and Design Engineer for our team, thanks to his deep passion for engineering and his interest in 3d printing. His role is central to the development of the car, where he brings fresh, innovative ideas to life. As the lead designer, Andrew is responsible for conceptualizing the car’s overall design, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics. He strives to push the boundaries of what’s possible, always seeking solutions that enhance performance, aerodynamics, and visual appeal.
Andrew wants to ensure that the car’s design is both feasible and efficient. He explores the most effective materials and cutting-edge tools available, ensuring the final product is both high-performance and durable. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence make Andrew an essential member of the team as we work together to build a car that represents innovation, precision, and teamwork.
Fawn was chosen as the Sponsorship and Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer for our team, a role that places her as the lead of promoting our team’s image and getting crucial sponsorships. With an eye for both strategy and creativity, Fawn is responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors, targeting organizations that help with our team’s values. Her primary goal is to build and maintain strong partnerships that will increase our team’s budget and ensure the smooth operation of our projects.
Fawn’s work involves an approach to marketing, which includes organizing events,such as making a meeting with potential sponsors. Through these efforts, she helps raise the profile of our team, ensuring that our identity, values, and goals are clearly reflected in all of our activities. Her leadership in this area is crucial for strengthening our brand and communicating our mission to a wider audience.
